The Benefits of CBD Tinctures
If you have ever searched 'CBD oil' online, you probably found many different products: CBD gummies, CBD lotions, CBD tinctures, and more!
CBD tinctures are a popular delivery system for CBD oil. They are typically sold in dropper bottles and are either flavorless or flavored CBD oil. If you are not familiar with CBD tinctures, you probably want to learn more about them. Here is the rundown.
What exactly is CBD?
CBD’s full name is cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is a chemical compound found in cannabis plants.
THC is another beneficial cannabinoid, but unlike THC, CBD does not produce psychoactive effects. All of Fallen Pollen’s CBD tinctures contain less than 0.3% THC. However, if you prefer a product with zero THC, you can try our broad-spectrum CBD tinctures.
How are CBD tinctures made?
The best CBD tinctures begin with hand-selected hemp plants grown in the United States. All our hemp-extracted oil is tested for potency, mold, heavy metal, and pesticides before it ever enters our lab. Once we receive the oil, it is around 80 percent cannabinoids, which is good but still contains some fats, lipids, water-soluble contaminants, and foul-tasting contaminants.
Then we take this CBD oil and further filter it using our proprietary process that removes all the fats, lipids, and water-soluble contaminants. The hemp extract oil is then redistilled to achieve an oil that is over 90 percent cannabinoids and up to 97 percent cannabinoids. The purer the hemp-extracted oil, the cleaner the end-product will be.
Important note: Do not purchase CBD tinctures that have not been tested for safety and purity by a third-party lab. You can find all third-party testing for all Fallen Pollen products on each product page.
How do you use CBD tinctures?
CBD tinctures are a popular CBD delivery system because they are simple to use and allow consumers to get a lot of CBD in just a few drops. Fallen Pollen offers CBD tinctures ranging from 150mg-1500mg of CBD. That is a lot more CBD than other CBD delivery methods contain.
CBD users also appreciate how versatile CBD tinctures can be. Because of the dropper tools CBD tinctures come with, you can mix a specific amount of CBD oil with anything.
Including:
- Coffee
- Smoothies
- Water
- Oatmeal
- Yogurt
- Cooking
Alternatively, you can put the desired amount of CBD under your tongue.
