In some cases, CBD may not produce the results you expected right away. In these instances, you must determine why CBD isn't working. Once determined, you can make the changes necessary for CBD to work more effectively for you.
POOR QUALITY CBD
Not all CBD products are created equal. It is critical to understand what all is in the CBD product you are using. Studies have shown that some products from the most well-known CBD brands contain almost no CBD.
To ensure that you are buying high-quality CBD, verify that it has a COA – Certificate of Analysis- which should be publicly available. The COA for a CBD product will usually be available on the company website. The COA comes from a third-party tester who verifies all the information on the label. It will also certify that the product is free of harmful substances such as heavy metals, pesticides, or molds.
GETTING THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF CBD
The amount of CBD you consume per dose is also important. Some people base their dosage on what friends or family members recommend. The issue with this is that everyone is unique. Everyone has a different way of metabolizing natural products, whether it's hemp extract or caffeine.
Your endocannabinoid system is what regulates many physiological processes in your body, including your nervous and immune systems, mood, digestion, and pain. It is important to note that the endocannabinoid system is not a one-size-fits-all system. In reality, it differs from person to person. As a result, you may need to adjust your CBD dosage to achieve the desired results.
If the CBD products you're using aren't working for you or if you are new to CBD, we suggest CBD tinctures that allow you to easily adjust the dose.
EXPECTATIONS ARE UNREALISTIC
You may not have realistic expectations when you first begin taking CBD as you may expect to see results right away. This is a presumption that many people have but it doesn’t always go that way. CBD sometimes takes much longer to start working for some people.
Don't be discouraged or surprised if you don't see noticeable results in the first week of using CBD as this is normal.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS YOU MAY BE USING
When taking CBD and other medications, it may be a good idea to take them at different times. CBD may sometimes interact with other drugs, reducing the CBD's effects. It is also strongly advised to combine CBD with foods high in healthy fats, such as avocado, yogurt, or peanut butter. This will help ensure that CBD is absorbed in your body and CBD is more effective when combined with fat.
If you've started taking CBD but aren't seeing the desired results, consider some of the issues listed above. Simple changes to your routine can sometimes solve the problem and help you achieve the desired results from the CBD product you use.
